The famous lines from the Diamond Sutra proclaim:

“All composed things are like a dream
a phantom; a drop of dew; a flash of lightning
that is how to meditate on them
that is how to observe them.”

In this course, we will use the key teachings from the Diamond Sutra to explore some core issues:

How do we practice intimacy in the face of radical transience of our human life?

What does it mean to care for others without clinging?

How do we make friends with old age, sickness, and death?

How can we enliven our relationships with those we are caring for?

This program is suitable for all dharma practitioners, professional caregivers, and anyone facing aging, sickness, and dying.
