Embodying Compassion, Cultivating Resilience with Leslie Booker

Embodying Compassion, Cultivating Resilience
with Guest Dharma Teacher Leslie Booker
Monday, February 12th, 2018, 6:00pm – 7:30pm

In the climate of our world today, many of us might feel like we are coming to the edge of our emotional capacity. Perhaps we are going past that edge, and into a place of exhaustion, depletion, apathy and burnout. In this evening talk, we will explore embodying compassion and cultivating resilience not only as activists and leaders in our communities, but as human beings in relational experiences. We’ll investigate our relationship with sangha and engage in compassion practices to support us in creating pause before reaction, so that we may respond from a place of clarity and calm.
