When we experience trauma, our capacity to experience trust, safety and possibility are affected and we are unable to fully participate in our lives.
Research in the emerging field of trauma care emphasizes the need for a comprehensive and holistic approach that utilizes the essential tools of mirroring, empathy, and understanding. We will also work with the Traumatic Antecedents Questionnaire and learn to track non-verbal communication.
5 Continuing Education Credits (CE’s) available to social workers and nurses.
