“Equanimity in Troubled Times”
An evening talk and discussion by guest teacher Gina Sharpe
Monday, April 17th, 2017 | 6pm-7:30pm
Join Buddhist teacher and founder of the New York Insight Meditation Center, Gina Sharpe for a timely discussion on the Buddhist approach to finding equanimity in difficult times.
“The gift of mindfulness practice is that in any moment of anxiety or fear, we are called to open our hearts, to have the courage to be with even our deepest, darkest fears. We hear, reflect on and put into practice the teachings, so that in the turmoil of anxiety and fear, loving awareness is our response.”
