What is the path when everything has changed? In this year’s Catch Your Mind study, we turn to our Zen ancestors for inspiration and companionship. We will start in China with Bodhidharma’s Outline for Practice, move into Dongshan’s Five Ranks, rest in Hongzhi’s Silent Illumination, and cross the sea to Japan to meet Dogen in Undivided Activity and BodyMind Study of the Way. Together we will practice how to move with disorientation into a new orientation in these times.

In this ten-month journey, we will meet once a month for a morning of practice, an afternoon of study, and, of course, we welcome you to practice Zazen each day in the online zendo.

The class will begin online and as it becomes possible there will be an option to meet in person. If geographic location makes this impossible, remote access to fully participate in classroom discussion and exchange will be available.
