Attunement in Caregiving Relationships: Compassion as a Healing Force

Loving: Attunement in Caregiving Relationships

with Dr Leslye Noyes, MDiv, PsyD

Saturday, April 14th, 2018
9:00am – 2:00pm

Join Dr. Leslye Noyes for a one-day intensive workshop exploring the impact of loving action on the healing process. How can we encounter the whole person and not just their symptoms? Develop the skills to practice relationship-centered care — expressing attunement, listening without agenda or expectation, interpreting expressions of both body and breath. These encounters can become catalysts for healing for both the caregiver and the people we serve.

Using experiential and didactic exercises, including instructor demonstration and practical applications of Gestalt therapy, participants will learn to be fully present with their patients and their needs in each moment.

The focus of this workshop is to provide practical tools for care that to serve to transform the clinical environment and is also appropriate for anyone interested in learning to approach our lives as opportunities for healing.
