Commit to Sit: A 90 Day Commitment to Practice

Celebrate the New Year with an energetic commitment to begin or to deepen your meditation practice. Join an extended community from across the country and around the world for NYZCCC’s fifth annual 90-Day Practice Period. Each morning for 90 days, participants will receive an email with a reflection drawn from this year's study text, Wholehearted: Slow Down, Help Out, Wake Up by Sensei Koshin Paley Ellison. The emails will include a thought-provoking reflection to challenge, encourage, and support your commitment to a daily meditation practice.

Zen History

This course presents an overview of the Zen Buddhist School with a particular emphasis on the formation of the scriptural and classic literature and the background of the culture and history of ancient China and Japan.
