Writing as a Tool for Healing

Thursdays, October 24th- November 21st 2019 from 6:00pm-7:30pm For most of us, life may provide sudden, disorienting and even disabling challenges. This writing group is an opportunity to find our way through the unknown and write our way toward healing.

Tangaryo: Becoming a Formal Zen Student

Tangaryo is the initiation ceremony for becoming a formal Zen Student at the New York Zen Center for Contemplative Care under the guidance of Sensei Robert Chodo Campbell or Sensei Koshin Paley Ellison.

Ecodharma: A New Buddhist Path with Guest Teacher David Loy

Liberation From Fate with Dr Leslye Noyes, MDiv, PsyD

Zen History

Wednesdays, January 22nd - May 13th, 2020 from 4:15pm-7:15pm

This course presents an overview of the Zen Buddhist School with a particular emphasis on the formation of the scriptural and classic literature and the background of the culture and history of ancient China and Japan.
