“How do we take care of our ancestors in our practice?”
In this moving dharma talk, Sensei Koshin honors and gives thanks to the ancestors of the Soto Zen lineage who, in their steadfastness, maintained the practice for future generations. Connecting this to the changes the New York Zen Center is currently undergoing, he asks us how we are building for future generations.
Sensei Koshin Paley Ellison, MFA, LMSW, DMIN, is an author, Zen teacher, Jungian psychotherapist, and Certified Chaplaincy Educator. Koshin co-founded the New York Zen Center for Contemplative Care.
