Originally from New Jersey, Justin Burke attended high school in Rhode Island (with co-presenter Dr. B.J. Miller) and went on to complete a master’s degree in art history and moral philosophy at the University of St Andrews in Scotland, and a doctorate in aesthetics at Oriel College, Oxford in England.

Justin is an independent scholar living and working in sight of two National Parks (Olympic and Mount Rainier) in the Seattle area, where he is a frequent contributor to the Socratic Forum for Thought. His current research interests include aesthetics and existential philosophy and their relation to palliative care.
