Annie HUntley

Mentor

Annie Huntley’s passion for contemplative care and grief education was ignited while caring for her mother, diagnosed with ALS in 2015. In 2017 Annie relocated from her native Seattle to New York to join Foundations at the New York Zen Center for Contemplative Care. Since then she’s served as a chaplain intern on the spiritual care teams at The Brooklyn Hospital Center and Seattle VA hospital. Annie is a Formal Zen Student of Sensei Kōshin Paley Ellison. As an artist, she’s particularly interested in how creativity and the imagination can support our paths of healing and growth after loss.
