Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Course

Please note:  Required Orientation is Tuesday, September 12th (free)
Plus one daylong class on Saturday, October 28th, from 10am – 5pm

Program Fee: $450-$600 based on sliding scale

Mindfulness is the purposeful act of paying attention to the present moment. Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is a specific curriculum that teaches mindfulness and how to incorporate it into our daily lives. MBSR has helped thousands of people decrease the effects of stress in their lives, allowing them to reduce the symptoms of both physical and psychological problems, and to live their lives with more ease vitality and enjoyment.

The course is highly participatory and requires a commitment to attendance and daily practice.

Jon Aaron is a certified teacher of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and has facilitated over 40 MBSR courses. He is a teacher at NY Insight Meditation Center and the co-guiding teacher of the Havurah at the JCC of Manhattan. A graduate of the Foundations in Contemplative Care program at the Zen Center, he is also a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner.
