Online Pet Loss Bereavement Group: A Contemplative Approach to Grief & Care

WEDNESDAYS, MAY 8TH – JUNE 19TH, 2024 | 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM ET

WITH CHODO CAMPBELL AND ALEX BETH EISHIN SCHAPIRO

Coping with the loss of a pet can present a wide range of difficult and unexpected emotions including, shock, disbelief, and profound sadness. Many pet owners consider the relationship between themselves and their pet to be one that provides unconditional love and emotional support.

Pet loss can often be trivialized and misunderstood. Sharing your experience with others who are also grieving a pet can be of tremendous comfort.

Using various tools such as sharing stories, writing, poetry, and ritual this group will provide an opportunity to gain perspective and engage with the grieving process in new ways.

Financial Support: New York Zen Center for Contemplative Care endeavors to make our programs accessible. If the cost of this program is prohibitive, please choose the scholarship tier that would make it possible for you to attend. Please note that there are a limited number of scholarships available. If a scholarship tier is not listed on the registration form, that means it is no longer available.
