Beginner’s Mind Memorial Weekend Retreat:
The Practice of Cultivating Intimacy, Joy and Radical Compassion

With Sensei Koshin Paley Ellison at the Won Dharma Center

Friday, May 26th – Monday, May 29th 2017

“In the beginner’s mind there are many possibilities, but in the expert’s there are few” ― Shunryu Suzuki

Join Sensei Koshin Paley Ellison for a weekend retreat at the Won Dharma Center in Claverack, NY exploring how to cultivate, expand and nurture the “beginner’s mind”.

Through seated and walking meditation practice, dharma talks, experiential learning and deep reflection in community, participants will examine the practices of “Bearing Witness”, “Not Knowing” and “Loving Action.”

We then can learn to create a path of greater freedom and joy in our meditation practice. Through the act of returning again and again to the breath, practitioners will discover the potential for greater creativity and radical compassion in their care for the world.
