Contemplative Medicine Fellowship Info Session

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 29TH, 2025 | 1:00PM – 2:00 PM ET

Join us for this free online information session about the Contemplative Medicine Fellowship — a twelve-month evidence-based training for physicians, advanced practice registered nurses (NP & CNM), and physician assistants who want to decrease burnout, improve patient outcomes, foster interpersonal connections and joy, and change the culture of care.

This info session conversation will focus on the transformative and the practical aspects of the Fellowship. You will also be able to ask questions, meet other interested practitioners, and discuss the training in a group setting.

Led by Fellowship Guiding Teachers Chodo Robert Campbell Sensei, GC-C and Koshin Paley Ellison Sensei, MFA, LMSW, DMIN, this program addresses the ongoing need for an approach to care that extends beyond the patient and their loved ones to include the clinicians themselves.

“As teachers, Chodo and Koshin have an uncanny ability to convey powerful messages in a dynamic, introspective, heartfelt, and humorous manner. Heart opened, compassion flowed. What a transformative experience for our medical fellows.”

– Dr. Tieraona Low Dog, Fellowship Director, University of Arizona Medical School’s Center for Integrative Medicine, Integrative Medicine Fellowship

The 2025-26 Contemplative Medicine Fellowship is now accepting applications for our next cohort, beginning July 26, 2025. Apply before March 31st, 2025 and save $1,000 in tuition.

Designed for clinicians of multiple professions and care models, the Fellowship promotes interprofessional collaborative practice leading to improved cooperation, communication, and integration among care in teams.

Fellows learn how to transform the way they care for others, their loved ones, and themselves by drawing on the tradition of Zen—the experience of disciplined practice in a shared community.

Supported by two residential retreats, the online Fellowship training immerses participants in contemplative practice and engaged, experiential learning while supporting existing clinical responsibilities.

Scholarship opportunities: Partial scholarships are also available for BIPOC applicants and those who primarily work within underserved communities. Learn more & apply now »
