Living Fearlessly: Facing the Inevitable An Online Offering

with Barbara Doshin Ende and Peggy Yoshin Peloquin

Tuesdays, Oct 5th, 2021 through Nov 30th, 2021 from 6:30pm to 8:00pm ET

We are living in a time of uncertainty. We share a world that once seemed unimaginable. Many of the usual patterns and habits that brought us comfort have been stripped away. And we have changed and adjusted. We are living the starkly disconcerting reality of impermanence on a daily basis. This kind of upheaval can lead to a radical shift in one’s perspective of what matters most.

The Buddha taught that old age, illness and death are inescapable. Living Fearlessly is a nine-week workshop that investigates how we can prepare for the end of life while living life fully. Drawing on the expertise of Barbara Doshin Ende and Peggy Yoshin Peloquin, you will explore the inescapable through poetry, journaling, and experiential exercises. You will consider practical tools such as advance directives and healthcare proxy and will spend time planning your own memorial and writing your obituary. Join us on this journey of discovery.
