Zazenkai literally means “to come together for meditation”. This day-long retreat is an opportunity to engage in silent practice within a supportive community, hear a Dharma Talk, and engage one-on-one with a Guiding Teacher. Practice includes sitting (zazen) and walking (kinin) meditation. This one-day practice period is a wonderful opportunity for extended meditation without having to leave New York City.
There will be a short break for silent lunch.
All levels of practice are welcome.
Scholarships and payment plans are available for this retreat. Please visit our financial assistance page to learn more.
